Any solution to the crisis in Europe lies beyond economic or political dogmatism. We cannot accept that fear and blame dominate the public debate. And we refuse to be divided in victims and offenders. We don’t tolerate when people in Europe are suffering under unhuman conditions. This destroys the humanness in all of us.

 

This is why we stand up and demand from our leaders to re-adjust priorities and to put people first.

 

This is also why we don’t sit and wait for our leaders. We start our own and much stronger connections between women in France, Greece, Germany, Portugal and elsewhere to support one another and build a Europe that is  based on compassion and mutual respect.
